If you want a more traditional ftp game to build a routine around, I'm loving Dragonsoul right now. Ridiculous Fishing is another gem that makes great use of the touch controls. There's another iteration built on top of its open source framework, Shattered Pixel, that adds a bunch more stuff but imo messes with the balance.įor arcade games, I love Pac Man 256. Lara Croft Go is also good, but I prefer the style of the former.
The Shadowrun games are fully fledged RPGs (especially Dragonfall), but performance isn't great and battery life will be an issue.įor puzzle games, I can't recommend Hitman Go enough, it's a masterclass in elegant design. If you want a AAA experience, XCOM: Enemy Within runs surprisingly well and it's a full port of the original. The Sorcery! series is by the same developers I've played the first and loved it, and I've heard nothing but good things about the rest of the series. The game is loosely based on Verne's Around the World In 80 Days, but in a steampunk world.
